Corporate Sustainability
Identify Material Topics
According to the Company's vision and sustainable development strategy, and referring to the updated GRI Universal Standards, SDGs, topics of concern to peers, as well as important industry trends, we summarize three aspects for sustainability topics listing with consideration to stakeholders' feedback. A stakeholder survey was conducted to identify and prioritize topics of concern, with a detailed analysis of issues specific to each stakeholder group. The Group's ESG Unit, in collaboration with corporate executives, evaluated the impact of each identified issue on the Company. Based on these assessments, a materiality matrix was developed, highlighting topics with high levels of concern and significant impact. The Company identified eight key material issues as a result. For material topics with high impact, we disclose our management policies and performance in the sustainability report under corresponding to particular topics of the GRI Universal Standards. We ensure that the contents of the report comply with the principles of stakeholder inclusiveness, materiality, and completeness, and reflect on the position and sustainability influence of CWE in the value chain. This is used as an important basis for examining and continuously improving our sustainability management and performance.

※Influence and Impact of Material Topics on the Economy, Environment, and Society
Based on the aforementioned list of 14 sustainability issues, eight key material topics were identified through a questionnaire survey and prioritization process. This was complemented by an analysis from the Group's ESG Unit members and representatives from various departments, focusing on stakeholder concerns and perceived impacts. These topics were then categorized according to their likelihood and the degree of both positive and negative impacts, resulting in a sustainability impact matrix, which serves as an evaluation tool for the ongoing review of sustainability issues' impacts.
※Changes in Selected Material Topics Between 2023 and 2022
In 2023, to enhance focus on tracking achievements, the 11 material topics from 2022 were streamlined to 8 key topics.
